  This kitchen board protects countertops by providing a sanitary surface when cutting and preparing various ingredients.  Crafted from 100% Indian Sheesham wood, this chopping board is as beautiful as it is useful.  Chop, slice, or dice fruits, vegetables, and other food, season or score meat, or segment off the herbs and spices you need for a recipe without the worry of running out of space.  Featuring integrated non-slip rubber feet on the bottom, the wooden butcher board stays securely in place as you chop ingredients and glide your knife across the surface.  Constructed with durable BPA-free technology, this food-grade cutting board can withstand daily and heavy-duty chopping without chipping, scaring, or dulling the blades of knives.  This wooden cutting board measures 12" x 16" x 1" for plenty of room to work and easy storage in drawers or cabinets after use.  It is normal for natural wood boards to show knife marks over time, we call that character!  This will not affect your boards performance; however, to help maintain the natural beauty and properly care for your wood cutting board, it is important to follow these guidelines.  To avoid stains and bacteria, it is important that you wash your cutting board immediately after each use.  Wash with warm water and detergent, rinse and dry immediately.  Do not soak in water!  As with all wood products, proper conditioning is needed to maintain the wood’s natural beauty and surface retention.  We recommend periodically conditioning your wood cutting board with food safe mineral oil; monthly or perhaps more often depending on your use.  Follow directions of the mineral oil manufacturer.  White vinegar is a safe and excellent disinfectant for salmonella, E. coli and other bacteria that can be present in your kitchen.  To disinfect your cutting board, spray an even coating of white vinegar on your board and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes.  Wipe off with a clean damp cloth.
